Xpel Ultimate PLUS – PPF Packages

Partial Front End

Partial front in paint protection is typically the front leading areas of the hood, and fenders. The bumper also gets covered.

Full Front End

The full hood covered with wrapped edges, full fenders covered with wrapped edges, and bumper covered. The backs of mirrors get covered if they are painted. Paint Protection Film doesn’t stick to plastic.

Full Front End and PNW Package

Same coverage as the Full Front Package but we also protect the rocker areas and rear deck lid. “Rear deck lid” is the area at the very top of the bumper that can get scuffed by dogs or grocery loading.

Full Protection

This can very depending on car and client.

  • In general the vehicles primary paint color gets covered.
  • Some exotic or special vehicles might want double layer protection in the rocker areas.
  • Some vehicles might opt to get gloss black trim areas covered as well in paint protection.
  • Some vehicles might opt for a paint texture change. (see Stealth below)

PAINT PROTECTION FILM “lingo” and MANUFACTURES

This type of product can go by a lot of different names: CLEAR BRA, PPF, PAINT PROTECTIVE FILM, PAINT SEALANT FILM, CLEAR CAR WRAP, or AUTO BODY GUARD PROTECTION. But they are not all the same, There are a couple reputable manufactures of this type of film – 3M Paint Protection Film claims to have developed this product for Military use during the Vietnam War.
